Kleintierpraxis Dr. Schiewe

We took our dog Lucky there and found the vet to be very competent. Unfortunately, the prices were incredibly high, and after our dog developed heart and lung problems due to his age, requiring examinations every two weeks at over €200 plus blood tests, we simply couldn't afford it anymore. We also felt it was unnecessary, as he seemed perfectly healthy and happy when he received his medication regularly. However, to continue receiving his medication, we would have had to have these constant, very expensive examinations done. For this reason, we switched to Dr. Specht in Northeim. He seems very competent, and the examinations are still affordable.

Thank you for all these years. My three cats were always very well cared for by Dr. Schiewe. The staff was always very friendly, competent, and always willing to listen. It's a shame there is no successor. I wish the entire team all the best.

A very kind and extremely competent vet, as are the practice staff. I have a lot of small issues with my dog, and Ms. Schiewe always takes her time, explains things thoroughly, and tries to keep costs as low as possible (which I don't take for granted). Scheduling appointments is quick and easy, wait times are short, and the ladies on the phone and at reception are always super friendly and helpful. The slightly longer commute from Göttingen is definitely worth it.
