I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice. We took our cat Finn there for over four years; he had two congenital conditions. Right up until the end, we were under the care of Dr. Minks. She did an incredibly wonderful job and always provided us with excellent care. We are so grateful for that. She was always honest, and the costs for treatments and medications were always transparent and clearly communicated to us – it was fair and honest. In the end, we had to say goodbye to our beloved cat, and even then, Dr. Minks handled everything perfectly. We were so glad she was there for us. ❤️🙏 A huge thank you also goes to the entire practice team for the excellent appointment scheduling and organization, as well as for their kind and supportive manner. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. We would come back to you anytime, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

TL;DR: I would choose this veterinary practice again in a heartbeat. Top-notch service, complete cost transparency, fantastic staff – 5/5, highly recommended! My cat was initially seen as an emergency patient in December, and even during the diagnostic process, several things were noticed that pointed to a chronic, deeper-seated problem. Since then, we've been going for checkups/further examinations roughly every six weeks (for context, I adopted him when he was nine; he's now 13.5 years old, meaning treatment is complicated by a relatively unknown history and age-related issues), and I feel extremely well cared for every single time. My cat was originally seen as an emergency patient in December, and several things were noticed during the diagnostic process that pointed to a chronic, deeper problem. I particularly appreciate that the veterinarians explain the findings well and understandably, and really answer all my curious questions, and not only explain the potential next steps to me, but also immediately assess how sensible they consider them (not) - because of this I always have the feeling that we are all working together to offer my Mr. Zwackelmann a nice and good life.

We've been taking our dog Daisy to this veterinary practice for four years now and are completely satisfied. Of course, Daisy has had a few minor ailments over the years, but scheduling appointments by phone has always been straightforward, and the treatments in person have always been competent and gentle. Our only slight criticism is the sometimes somewhat longer waiting time. However, since the practice is very busy and they also accommodate walk-in appointments, this is understandable. While waiting isn't ideal for our anxious dog, there's the option of staying outside – the practice grounds offer plenty of space for that. We both worked in emergency medical services for many years and are now involved in disaster relief for the city of Halle. This might lead us to ask somewhat more specific questions, but this has never been a problem for the medical or specialist staff – quite the opposite: we always feel taken seriously and well-advised. A particularly positive aspect is that we never feel pressured into unnecessary examinations or tests – even though our dog is insured. Daisy is almost eleven years old now, and thanks to our self-employment (IT, alarm systems, video surveillance, etc.), we can spend a lot of time with her and enjoy our time together as a family of three. A practice we can absolutely recommend! J. Werth and K. Faber
