We were there today with our dog (9) after a long time. She had a mammary tumor...then an x-ray...a tumor in her lung. It's a lot to process. And despite everything, we have to be sensible and act in the best interests of the animal. The vet was incredibly friendly, calm, very honest, and empathetic...no pressure at all. It was a wonderful experience for both people and animals. The decision is now ours, of course, but we'll enjoy her remaining time and let her go before she starts to suffer. Because that's the beautiful thing. No one should suffer for long. 🍀
