Tierarzt Dr. Bernhard Schmidt

I was a little skeptical on the phone. But when we arrived at Dr. Schmidt's with our dog Sammy, he was very kind. He immediately took care of us and treated Sammy with great care. We also liked his wife right away. He examined Sammy and treated him well. He was already feeling much better in the car. Today, a day later, Sammy is completely recovered and healthy again. Thank you so much for the wonderful treatment.

After our visit, I'm honestly shocked and disappointed. We brought our injured cat to the practice as an emergency. We were essentially told, "It'll either work out or it won't." When I asked whether we should take him to an animal hospital or our regular vet, we were told it wasn't necessary and that other vets would just continue treating him and charge us for it. Luckily, we listened to our gut feeling and went to an animal hospital anyway. Our cat was admitted immediately and is currently in intensive care. I understand that not every practice can handle every emergency themselves. However, I can't comprehend why they advised against further veterinary care, even though our cat was seriously injured. Without the decision to get a second opinion, our cat might not have had a chance. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend this practice.

A 10/10 vet! I'm absolutely thrilled! We had an emergency there and were treated incredibly kindly. Based on my experience with other practices, I can say with complete conviction: Here, things are handled fairly and decisions are truly made in the animal's best interest!
