Super Team.
An absolute recommendation!! We essentially "admitted" ourselves to surgery for our mare, as a friend highly recommended this clinic, and the initial diagnosis was done by another veterinarian. Three bone chips were removed from her hind hock and fetlock joints, and we received comprehensive and expert advice over the phone beforehand. This covered the necessity of the surgery, the potential risks, and all the pros and cons of chip removal. Furthermore, the horse underwent another X-ray and clinical examination in Kevelaer before the surgery so we could get a firsthand impression of the clinical symptoms. From the consultation to the surgery and the entire aftercare, everything was first-class. Unfortunately, I've had very different experiences at other clinics...!!! I don't want to say we have a different horse, but that's essentially the case! We've been thrilled with her rideability, the entire process, and her progress since the surgery. The excellent orthopedic aftercare provided by Dr. Kramer, in combination with the clinic's farrier, made the overuse injuries caused by the chips disappear with top-quality shoeing, and the horse is now building muscle and moving much more freely. Throughout the entire stay at the clinic, our horse was also provided with excellent roughage! The value for money is also particularly noteworthy! Here, the focus isn't solely on profit, but on fair compensation for top-notch service. And the horse, with its specific issues, is more important than "making a quick buck." We would make the same decision again without hesitation and are completely convinced by MPZ!
This clinic was recommended to me by my osteopath. My mare unfortunately needed surgery and had to stay there for a total of 11 days. The doctors were incredibly competent and the staff incredibly friendly. We felt completely at ease. Thank you so much.
Based on a friend's recommendation, I went to this equine clinic. I can highly recommend it. All the staff are very friendly, and Mr. Hüpen was able to help us quickly and easily. They don't perform unnecessary tests to inflate the bill. I'm very satisfied.
Our vet recommended this clinic to us when our horse suffered a nail puncture. Although we could have gone to other clinics in the area, we chose this one. From the very first minute (first in Straelen and then in Kevelaer), we felt understood and well cared for. All the staff are very courteous, friendly, and true horse people. They act with loving care, always acting in the best interests of their patients. Mr. Diekstall took the time to answer our questions from the beginning and kept us informed about our horse's health every day without us having to ask. Even when we visited unannounced, he rearranged his appointments to be there for us and answer our questions with empathy. All treatment steps were explained, and an honest prognosis was always given. Unfortunately, due to the adverse circumstances, we had to let our horse go after four operations, as the infection with an unidentifiable, aggressive germ could no longer be contained or treated. But even in our final moments, Mr. Diekstall accompanied us with great empathy and composure until the very end. Having had experience at other clinics, we can make a comparison. Our conclusion: We wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and its entire team and, despite the sad outcome (you truly gave it your all), thank you for the first-class care and treatment. We would ALWAYS come back.
