Eight months ago, our horse was in pain and exhibiting various symptoms. We spent ages searching for the cause, and then luckily we found the Veterinary Medical Center in Straelen, where a chance movement alerted the vet to his knees. This was followed by surgery and months of pampering, walks, Equikinetic exercises, groundwork, a special diet, and so much more. At the vet's follow-up appointment, we received the devastating news: his knees were great, and his back was too. We were allowed to gradually increase his workload, including riding him. Today is the big day. We mounted him for the first time and were so incredibly proud and happy. Many, many thanks to Mr. Hüpen and his team, who, with so much empathy and expertise, got our little guy back on his feet.

From the very first moment (first in Straelen and then in Kevelaer), we felt understood and cared for. All the staff are very courteous, friendly, and truly horse people. They act with love and only in the best interests of their patients. Mr. Diekstall took the time to answer our questions from the very beginning and updated us daily, without being asked, on our horse's health. Even during unannounced visits from us, he rescheduled his appointments to provide us with sensitive answers. All treatment steps were explained, and an honest prognosis was always given. Unfortunately, due to adverse circumstances, we had to let our horse go after four operations because the infection with an unidentifiable, aggressive germ could no longer be contained and treated. But even during our final step, Mr. Diekstall accompanied us with great empathy and composure until the very end. Since we've had experiences at other clinics, we can compare. Our conclusion: We can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and the entire team, and despite the sad outcome (you really gave it your ALL), we thank you for the first-class care and treatment. We would ALWAYS come back.
