Mobile Kleintierpraxis Dr. Karin Schlotterbeck

When it turned out that my beloved cat Crissy had an incurable tumor and would have to be put down sooner rather than later, I wished for nothing more for him—who always panicked terrifyingly at the vet—than to fall asleep peacefully at home. While searching for a veterinarian willing to do this, I came across Dr. Schlotterbeck, and I must say, she was a true angel in this sad situation. She calmly guided Crissy to a better world and, with her gentle and kind manner, even managed to alleviate some of the tension and fear for me and my partner. A truly wonderful woman—I wish I had known about her mobile veterinary practice sooner and had her as Crissy's vet. Thank you so much.

How incredibly lucky I am to have met such a veterinarian. Competent, always ready to listen, with a big heart and incredibly loving towards the animals, which is the most important thing to me. She always knows what to do and, most importantly, she makes house calls, so no animal has to endure the travel or stress of a veterinary clinic.

In our distress, we called Dr. Schlotterbeck because our veterinarian was unwilling to euthanize our beloved cat, Elvis, in our home due to the coronavirus crisis. Dr. Schlotterbeck, a very personable and empathetic veterinarian, came to us and guided our Elvis to the Rainbow Bridge with sensitivity and calmness. We admire Dr. Karin Schlotterbeck for her wonderful and selfless care for animals. Unfortunately, there are very few doctors like her. A five-star rating seems too low for such a wonderful doctor. Many thanks, and praise. We will never forget her. We highly recommend her.

For the saddest of reasons, I had to contact Dr. Schlotterbek: to have my beloved 20-year-old cat euthanized. I'd been through so much with him in recent weeks, especially with the vet visits. He had been through it too, because some vets seem to have never heard of empathy or a senile, arthritic cat who was so attached to me. Dr. Schlotterbek was completely different... THANK YOU FOR THAT. I can't even describe it. Keywords: competence, understanding, compassion, empathy, composure, taking him in my arms and discussing everything thoroughly, planning, and implementing it, even at 7:30 pm... Exclusively "for the animal." It was all incredibly difficult, but somehow it was wonderful nonetheless. My darling crossed the Rainbow Bridge peacefully, in his own home, in my arms... Thank you so much for everything!

Ms. Schlotterbeck is a truly wonderful veterinarian. She recently accompanied our cat on his final journey, and I'm so glad it was her. We would go to her again in a heartbeat.
