Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed… I called Ms. Höhne about a hedgehog that had been hit by a car and urgently needed medical attention. I was simply told to contact the Wendland Animal Welfare Association or the Nature Conservation Association. It's just sad. After much back and forth, I decided to go to the Lüneburg Animal Clinic, which was willing to treat the little guy (at 11:30 pm), but sadly he didn't make it and died… It's so sad that the on-call emergency vet wouldn't treat a small hedgehog…

I had an emergency on Pentecost Saturday. One of my dogs was vomiting bloody mucus at intervals. Since my regular vet wasn't available, I called the on-call vet, Ms. Höhne, and described the symptoms. She then referred me to the animal hospital without any further questions, as she clearly had no interest in dealing with my case. Nobody needs emergency services like that. If a vet doesn't want to be there, they shouldn't volunteer for on-call duty! In the end, it was just a severe case of gastritis. Based on this experience of apathy, I absolutely cannot recommend Ms. Höhne. Why would someone become a vet if they have so little interest in helping animals? I give her 5 stars and no stars (I have to give one to even be able to write this review).

I desperately needed a vet a month ago. It was after 6 or 7 pm (I'm not sure exactly). So I looked online to see who was available. Then I called her. I thought my cat was going to die, which I told her, and her response was: "I'm already with the horses." 😑 Nobody needs a vet like that. Thank goodness there was someone else there who was also a patient of mine with my two cats.
