Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this veterinary clinic. I took my mare there last year for a lameness examination. She was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both hocks, and osteolysis was also mentioned. I was advised to have her treated with injections at regular intervals. Since the subsequent course of treatment and the diagnosis didn't make sense to me, I sought a second opinion. Three other veterinarians independently confirmed that neither osteoarthritis nor osteolysis was visible on the existing X-rays – the images were unremarkable. In the end, a completely different cause for the lameness was discovered. Furthermore, I found the atmosphere there very impersonal and rushed. Examinations were conducted very quickly, and follow-up questions seemed unwelcome. I was particularly disappointed that, afterward, the farrier apparently discussed a poor prognosis for my horse without this assessment being communicated directly to me. In total, I paid almost €2,000 and wasted a great deal of valuable time. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for me.

We were also extremely satisfied with the Equitales equine clinic and would definitely recommend them. The veterinarians and team members are very competent, and the horse was treated calmly and lovingly. A thorough diagnosis was performed, followed by a very detailed consultation with the veterinarian regarding the necessary treatment. We got back a happy, perfectly clean, and well-groomed grey horse. Many thanks to the entire team!
