A fantastic team that treated our horse with sensitivity and expertise over several weeks. Cookie is completely back to her old self and has no limitations whatsoever after the surgery. Many thanks again – also from Cheyenne, Angie, and Harry – to the entire team at the equine clinic!

Even one star is too much!!! Our horse was being treated there for lameness. After several vague diagnoses (hematoma, laminitis, carpal joint) from Ms. Müller, we unfortunately took her advice and brought him to this clinic. After a few days, she finally discovered a hematoma in the hoof wall, caused by nailing "into the quick." This was opened, and our horse was discharged. After another check-up, special shoes were put on, and everything started all over again. The hematoma was back, and this time it was supposedly even migrating! And then the horror began... Ms. Müller came once a week with her case (mobile X-ray machine), X-rayed the hoof, and cut into the horn until it bled. During the last treatment, she cut so deep that bright red blood flowed and flowed, and our otherwise incredibly well-behaved horse resisted fiercely. When she planned to put our horse under general anesthesia if there was no improvement and, together with our regular farrier (who was also ours), trim the entire hoof, I thankfully stopped the treatment. On the advice of my vet, I went to the Isernhagen equine clinic. They couldn't determine why our horse was still lame. However, it was clear that it had suffered a real trauma! Ms. Müller had repeatedly cut into the sensitive laminae – without sedation. It's like having your toenail pulled off without anesthetic and then cutting into the raw flesh! What unspeakable pain our horse must have endured! Sarstedt ripped us off by thousands of euros (not including the follow-up costs). The worst part, however, is that our horse suffered excruciating pain. As a result, it lost its trust in humans, refused to let us handle its hooves, and even had to be sedated several times for treatment and shoeing. It's completely healthy again, but the pain memory hasn't (yet) forgotten anything. I'm angry with myself for allowing our horse to be tortured like that and for this disastrous treatment to only make everything much worse. Of course, I personally contacted Dr. Lippegaus in writing by registered mail with return receipt, requesting a statement and possibly some compensation regarding the treatment costs. That's why I hadn't yet paid the final bill. The only response was a payment reminder including late fees. Outrageous! This arrogant and ignorant behavior says it all! Mistakes happen where work is being done, that's human nature, but then one should own up to them! After all, we're talking about living beings here, sensitive and beautiful creatures that deserve our protection and full respect. As animal owners, we must be able to trust that our beloved animals are being treated well.

We've been bringing our ponies to the clinic regularly for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The treatment is consistently excellent.

Several boarders, including myself and my horses, have switched to the Sarstedt Equine Clinic. The veterinarians are competent and friendly. The treatments have always been effective, they take their time with the patients, and the advice is excellent. We, and of course the horses, feel very well cared for by the team.

I've been taking my animals to this equine clinic for years. The veterinarians and assistants are always very kind, animal-friendly, and competent. Furthermore, the clinic is very modern and, especially in emergencies, you can always rely on prompt assistance.
