Reviews
I've been taking my cats to Ms. Nissen and her team at their practice for about two and a half years now. We've had nail trimming, vaccinations, advice sessions, neutering/spaying, aftercare, and emergency care all done there. We've ALWAYS been so wonderfully cared for by the whole team. For me, it starts with them knowing the animals' names and breeds, simply because they looked at the file just before the appointment. The way they treat both animals and people is always warm and sensitive. You gladly entrust your pet to these animal-loving hands because you know you'll not only receive help but also genuine love (for the job and the animals).
Katharina Ronnsen is a truly wonderful veterinarian with a very friendly staff! We are permanent campers in Dagebüll, and our dog's health was deteriorating; we were even considering having him put down. But at the Nissen practice, Dr. Ronnsen took all the time she needed for our Togger (our dog) and explained everything very clearly, so we understood. She gave us medication, and Togger is doing well again for his age (16 years). Dr. Ronnsen is a veterinarian with a passion for her work; she doesn't try to rip you off or financially ruin you. If there were 10 stars, Dr. Ronnsen and her team would deserve them! ... Togger and we say thank you! From April 1st to October 31st, you are our trusted veterinarian. We will always go to you! I have never seen anyone take so much time for an animal!!! Thank you!! We went a second time, this time to Dr. Nissen herself. Togger wouldn't eat, had too much tartar on his teeth, and his breath smelled terrible. In Soltau, we were told: "We have to anesthetize him and then remove the tartar from his teeth, that costs about €700!" 😳 But we can't promise that Togger will wake up again! As I said, we went back to Dr. Nissen in Niebüll and she said we could try to remove the tartar without anesthesia! I held Togger down, he patiently endured it, and the cost was around €50. My dog is alive and eating again! A fantastic practice with a wonderful team and owner! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I had to take my dachshund Loki (9 years old) to see Ms. Nissen at short notice due to a very severe inflammation in her upper jaw. Ms. Nissen treated Loki thoroughly, attentively, almost lovingly, and without any time pressure. Loki has since recovered very well from the two-hour surgery. I always get the feeling that the team truly cares about their patients. I feel extremely well cared for there.
