Reviews
I was very disappointed by the vet. He seemed very drunk and talked a lot about his private life, which I found inappropriate. When I first met the vet five years ago, he seemed very trustworthy. Unfortunately, my last visit was a completely different story.
From the very first moment, Mr. Rabe took a great deal of time for our dog and calmly discussed the problem with us. His diagnosis that the hair loss and ear infection were caused by a food allergy was spot on, as was the medication he prescribed. I can say this with certainty because I can see that our dog is significantly, significantly better after ten days. Simba is more agile again, his coat is thick and shiny once more. The head shaking caused by the ear infection has completely stopped. I'm thrilled because our Ridgeback, Simba, isn't an easy dog; he's usually rather standoffish and wary of people. Mr. Rabe's calm demeanor was immediately contagious, and we were able to remove the muzzle after just a few minutes. So, judging by the dog's behavior, I can say that our choice of veterinarian was absolutely right. Of course, the veterinarian also shared some of his personal experiences during our conversation, which I didn't mind at all; on the contrary, it provided some valuable information. In conclusion: I can recommend this veterinary practice to anyone who values ââa more personalized, less impersonal experience, wants their pet's medical history explained clearly to the owner, and wants to know their animal is in good hands. I must also mention that I find some of the reviews here quite questionable. We will definitely be back.
I'm very satisfied with Mr. Rabe. He's very friendly and explains very clearly why something needs to be done, or why nothing needs to be done at first. The price is perfectly reasonable.
Very good doctor, has always helped my cat well. I've been treating my cat for over seven years. The telephone consultations have always been excellent, too. Thank you, Dr. Raabe.
Unfortunately disappointed. Based on the reviews and conversations with others, we thought we would be in good hands there, but this was not the case. Our dog was not examined at all. As we were there for the first time to get our dog vaccinated (our vet has stopped), I found this very strange. As I know, a vet normally examines the dog first and weighs it before administering anything. Furthermore, he really only talked about his private life, his dog and his car. In the end, he left with us. We just wanted to go home, but he practically insisted that we look at his car, which I personally found very unprofessional. It's only about him and not our dog. We will not go there again.
