A veterinarian with a lot of heart Dr. Schmidt accompanied us through an unfortunately difficult time with our dog. He and the Ukrainian vet fought hard for our dog and took an incredible amount of time, even during his lunch break. You could tell how much care was taken with our animal. The animal's well-being was always a top priority, and we were thoroughly informed at all times. I really have to praise Dr. Schmidt. I have never experienced such heart and empathy for both our animal and us as pet owners in any other practice. You can tell that he does his job with his heart and not, like many others, for profit. Unfortunately, our story didn't end well, and it couldn't have been prevented. But we couldn't have imagined a better companion for our animal and ourselves during this difficult time. A truly wonderful person who has helped us so wonderfully, not for the first time.
Here, veterinary medicine is practiced with heart and soul. Dr. Schmidt cared for and looked after our dog well from beginning to end, doing everything in his power for him, even though things unfortunately didn't turn out well for him in the end. Sadly, it couldn't be prevented. Dr. Schmidt did so much for us and was so compassionate and empathetic – I've never experienced that in any other veterinary practice. He even called us outside of office hours to check on our dog. Here, the animal's well-being and health are still the priority, not profit and money, as is sadly the norm in other practices these days. Thank you so much for everything.
Fantastic vet! We had previously taken our cat to another vet who didn't even have a minute for us! The wound was a huge hole; we thought her tail was going to fall off due to an animal bite. We got an appointment immediately, the surgery was a great success, and we will now be taking all four of our animals there! Thank you so much again!
Never in my entire life, never again! First things first: if you love your pet, you should definitely not go here! We took our Labrador to the Ukrainian vet because he had an epileptic seizure and we were worried. She didn't even really examine him, but gave him strong painkillers and antibiotics, which we had to continue giving him at home (he also had a bladder infection, as there was a little blood in the last few drops of his urine) – otherwise, she claimed everything was fine. Our dog got worse every day from then on, until we stopped the medication ourselves. We went back to the "veterinarian" and suddenly she said he had a serious heart condition. Why wasn't this diagnosed a week earlier? We then went to another vet in the area who actually examined our dog, did a blood test, and checked everything. They didn't find anything abnormal, but our dog had very little blood. The first vet did everything humanly possible, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough, and we had to have our beloved pet put down four weeks ago today. According to the second vet, the strong medication he was prescribed caused internal bleeding in his intestines, and that's what killed him. The pills had eroded his stomach lining, causing him to bleed to death internally. We had no choice but to let our beloved pet go. I'm sorry to say it like this, but I clearly blame the first vet. Do yourselves a favor and don't look at the money when it comes to your animals, because you won't get any help here. This won't bring my Carlos back, but maybe it will stop someone else from taking their dog/cat – or whatever – there.
I sadly had to have my beloved dog, a girl, put to sleep after a long illness at the age of 12. Dr. Schmidt came to our home, and she was able to fall asleep peacefully in my arms in her favorite spot. Dr. Schmidt was very compassionate and helped us a great deal during this difficult time. Thank you so much.
