Even the best veterinarian is only as good as the team behind them. And in my opinion, that's no longer the case. It seems the only truly competent assistant has resigned. She hasn't been reachable by phone or in person for quite some time, which is a real shame. Everything always worked perfectly with her. If I ordered on Monday, I could pick it up on Tuesday. Now nothing works at all. Either they forget to order, they order the wrong thing, or suddenly they say the medication isn't available. Oddly enough, I then called another clinic, and they were able to order it without any problems! It makes you wonder. It's difficult to get through to them by phone, too. No matter what question you have, they always just say, "I'll have to ask the doctor." Why didn't the assistant ever have to ask the doctor before? She always knew the answers, gave competent advice, and, most importantly, the right advice. Now you're stuck on hold forever until a doctor has time because the assistants apparently don't know anything. How can there be such a disparity in competence? Perhaps they should consider hiring more capable staff. Strangely enough, I think they should consider hiring more competent staff. I certainly won't be coming back. If anyone knows where the nice assistant has gone, please let me know. And I'm not the only one who's noticed this. An acquaintance mentioned there's another assistant who's very knowledgeable, but she's never there on Mondays. Since I always have Mondays off, that's no help to me either. It's a real shame.
