Top doctors and practice. The surgery went extremely well, and the aftercare was and is perfect. A fantastic team. Thank you so much!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This morning (Saturday) we had a nightmare: Our cat Mila was an emergency case, and we were completely overwhelmed. After calling the veterinary clinic, we were able to come in immediately – that alone was a huge help. At the clinic, we and Mila were treated with incredible love, calm, and respect. Every step was explained clearly; nothing felt intrusive or unnecessary. The empathetic way they handled our cat was particularly touching – you immediately sense that genuine care is the focus here, not just medicine and profit! They took their time. And our Mila was anything but peaceful – but they handled it incredibly well! Unfortunately, you often hear from pet owners that vet visits involve exorbitant prices or the feeling of being ripped off, especially when animals are insured – but that was absolutely not the case here, neither in terms of price nor the staff's attitude. The costs were completely fair and transparent – especially considering everything that was done, we had expected to pay significantly more. They took their time. And our Mila was anything but peaceful – but they handled it really well! We've definitely found a new practice for the future. Thank you so much for your kindness and for being there for us in such a difficult moment. Highly recommended.
I've been going to this practice with my two small dogs for four years now, but for minor issues, I see a vet in my local area. This time, it was my four-year-old male Chihuahua. He has tartar, and I thought I'd discovered a root remnant. During the examination, they tried to look inside my dog's mouth, because that was apparently the point. My little one didn't quite take that kind of thing seriously, so he pulled his head away and started growling (not unusual for strangers to want to look into a dog's mouth?!). According to this, she had about 1.5 seconds to see his teeth. I was then told that there was a lot of work to be done there. I was also asked if I was sure the dog was four years old, because they already knew what was going on around his snout (yes? I had him as a puppy ??? - that's also known, since I'd already taken him to this practice as a puppy). I was told that a lot of teeth would have to be extracted, and I should expect that maybe all of them would have to be extracted, as it looks really bad and there's a lot of work to be done. A blood test was also supposed to be done beforehand. Overall, it was a very strange conversation, totally impersonal, and somehow everything happened so quickly. I was also told that he was too fat... (Hasn't any other vet mentioned this yet?) He's a Chihuahua and weighs 2.2 kg - how is that TOO FAT?? 2 kg!! When I was at the reception desk for an appointment, the doctor told the lady at the reception desk to allow plenty of time because there was a lot to do. I then casually asked how much it would cost me, because we hadn't discussed that. I was told I could expect to pay €800-1200. Wow - a lot of teeth out + €800-1200? I got two more opinions from other veterinarians and confronted the practice by phone. The conversation didn't go well, as expected. Everything was dismissed and trivialized. I've now had my dog's dental surgery done by another veterinarian. They only removed two small front teeth and one remaining baby tooth that hadn't fallen out... + tartar + nails + ear cleaning + medication + special anesthesia for extra-small dogs. The surgery lasted 35 minutes. I paid €520!! That's outrageous! I would have paid double that at this practice, and my dog might be toothless, or rather, have MANY teeth removed. P.S.: I work in a dental practice myself and can very well distinguish between damaged teeth that need to be removed and healthy teeth with tartar.
