One star ONLY because the surgery went well… I had my cat spayed there, and it cost a pretty penny (examination €80 + spaying €400). No matter what question I asked, I was made to feel stupid or ridiculed… you ask one question and leave with four more. I also felt a complete lack of empathy, generally uncomfortable, and seeing the animal lightly sedated and hanging from her arm like an object wasn't exactly a pleasant sight. Instead of letting me stay with her until she fell asleep, the vet told me I could leave now. Afterwards, they handed my cat back to me in a carrier at the reception desk. Frankly, I would have preferred not to leave my little one there at all, because if people who complain are treated like this, how do they treat the animals…? I don't want to question the vet's professional competence, but she lacked empathy.
I cannot recommend this practice to anyone. I was there some time ago with my sister and our kitten, who was in very bad shape – she was bleeding from her mouth and nose. Our cat was whimpering in pain, my sister was crying when she saw her suffering, but neither the vet nor the staff reacted appropriately. We waited for over an hour in the waiting room while healthy animals were called in for check-ups. The vet offered no real help. We only received a bill for almost €200. We then went to another vet, but unfortunately, it was already too late – something had ruptured in the kitten's head, and she bled to death. It was a traumatic experience and a huge disappointment.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My chronically ill cat and I have been under the care of the Pühringer veterinary team since the beginning of the year. First and foremost, I must commend the friendliness of the entire team. Unfortunately, we are regular visitors, and there has not been a single instance where I haven't been treated kindly and with the utmost care, whether on the phone or in person. No call, no question, no amount of thought is too much trouble here. Quite the opposite: I find both Dr. Pühringer and Dr. Weber to be extremely interested, incredibly thorough, and always in close consultation without me ever having to ask or inquire. Since I am now overwhelmed by the complexity of the illness myself, I can only express my gratitude for such valuable and competent care, where proactive and comprehensive thinking and treatment are provided, both professionally and emotionally. Once again, the entire team deserves praise. Of course, these services cost a considerable amount of money, but I would like to emphasize that the animal's well-being is absolutely the priority here, not profit. I have never felt like I was being ripped off. On the contrary: telephone inquiries and consultations were always free, and a remarkable amount of time is taken for the treatments themselves. Thank you so much for everything you have done for my little one so far! I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice!
Dear Dr. Pühringer, dear practice team, I would like to thank you all most sincerely. Nicky has been a patient of yours for many years, and once again you have shown us why we trust your practice so much. Yesterday's surgery and simultaneous dental treatment were performed with the utmost professionalism, calm, and care. Your friendly and empathetic care—both to Nicky and to me—means the world to me. With every visit, it's clear how much experience, expertise, and genuine love for animals you put into your work. For me, your practice has been one of the very best for years, and I am always grateful that Nicky is in such good hands with you. Thank you so much for your outstanding dedication and excellent care. THANK YOU!
I wasn't satisfied. The people there were nice, but they simply lacked the necessary expertise. The vet didn't know the breed, and in my opinion, the dog wasn't handled properly. Several tests were performed, which another vet had told me weren't even necessary to arrive at a diagnosis. In other words, my dog was subjected to a lot of unnecessary stress due to a lack of knowledge. We won't be going there again.
