Reviews
We brought our leopard gecko here and he received excellent care. The staff was very friendly and the veterinarian was highly competent.
My Amazon parrot had his claws trimmed, his beak filed, and a skin check done. We were admitted to the practice promptly, and after only a 5-minute wait, he was already under the vet's care. She did a fantastic job. The best thing is that you can make an appointment here and don't have to stand in line for hours in the cold. I think that's great.
On Friday, I took my budgie to a vet because he was very ill. The visit didn't really help, probably because the vet wasn't an avian specialist. Over the weekend, my budgie's condition worsened despite antibiotics, so I discovered this vet because he specializes in birds and took him there immediately on Monday afternoon. According to the internet, their opening hours on Monday afternoons are from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. And you can come by in emergencies. We had to ring the bell, and a veterinary assistant answered and told us that no vet was available. I explained that it was an emergency, but apparently, I wasn't taken seriously and was told that he looked perfectly fine. I asked if there was another avian vet, but they only mentioned one in Giessen and said that a regular vet wasn't very good because they didn't know much about birds. The assistant suggested I bring the sick bird back the next morning at 8:00 AM. That's what I wanted to do, but unfortunately, the little guy didn't survive the night! The website says: "Emergencies, of course, anytime." This was an emergency! I can't say what the vet was like, and frankly, I don't care right now; my little one didn't make it. Thanks for nothing! The bird in the picture was in a quarantine cage to protect the other one!
The practice is great, always friendly, very competent and above all very helpful!
Very friendly, kind, helpful, good team, always there for my Hanni if anything is wrong, thank you for that.
