So far, only positive experiences: transparent billing and successful treatments. The assistants and doctors are incredibly empathetic! They always try their best to schedule appointments! Whenever possible, I travel by bus and tram with my 12-year-old dog from Darmstadt to Eberstadt.

Absolutely not recommended. My dog ​​has been suffering from severe urinary problems since his neutering. When I cautiously inquired whether this could be a consequence of the procedure, the response was extremely cold. Instead of offering professional advice, the veterinarians took it personally. It seemed as if their egos were more important than my pet's well-being. They just wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. The staff is also very unfriendly. Because I called twice to clarify something and avoid misunderstandings, I was treated disrespectfully. In short: You're only taken seriously here if you make a lot of noise. Shy people are treated disrespectfully. I'm now questioning not only their tone but also the competence of this team. To everyone: Take the 1-star reviews seriously.

We've been taking our cats to this practice for several years now, and we prefer to see Dr. Gärtner. We made the longer drive because our local vet said, "I can't do that. You'll have to go to the animal hospital," for almost every other problem. At the Hirtenweg practice, they simply offer so much more than your average rural vet. Our two old and, unfortunately, also sick cats are in very good hands. Necessary examinations were done immediately, instead of "just waiting to see if it goes away on its own." Dr. Gärtner saved our two cats' lives when it was really touch and go. And she's incredibly kind while doing it. The whole team is great. The practice seems to be more expensive than others, but everything has gotten more expensive these days, so I can't really judge whether it's unreasonable.
