Reviews
We've been taking our now 11-year-old dog to this practice for several years and have always been satisfied. The whole team is very friendly and competent, and you can get an appointment quickly. It's sad that a visit to the vet has become financially almost impossible for some people – but the practice can't be blamed for that. They have staff to pay, and medications and other supplies have become significantly more expensive in recent years.
Over the course of my life, I've encountered many veterinarians. How competent (as a layperson) does the person I'm entrusting my pet to appear? How is my pet greeted? How carefully and calmly is it examined? Are my concerns taken seriously? Is there time for my questions? Are alternative approaches offered alongside conventional medicine? Is attention paid to creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere for the animals? Is safety (escape routes) a priority? How accessible is the vet in an emergency, and how easy is it to schedule appointments in general? What are the waiting times like? What is the atmosphere like between the vet and staff? What are the staff members like? Are house calls available (e.g., in emergencies or when an animal needs to be transferred)? Is empathy shown to the person treating the animal without compromising the animal's well-being? What are the prices like? How comprehensive and modern is the diagnostic and treatment equipment? Are more affordable (yet still helpful) alternatives suggested? I consider all these aspects important. I am fully aware that I have high expectations and that it is hardly possible to achieve or set a perfect score in every aspect. My list is simply too long, or my standards too high. Dr. Weisert's practice comes very close to the seemingly impossible (a perfect score in every respect). I am particularly impressed by the exceptionally careful and empathetic approach to both animals and people. Above all, Dr. Jane Weisert herself. In this demanding and exhausting daily routine, which requires so much resilience, it is almost a miracle that, despite the routine and workload, it is clearly evident that helping animals (and their owners) is a matter of the heart here. A very big one. Anyone who has met Dr. Weisert has no doubt about this. And so it is no wonder that the members of her team also radiate this same attitude. I am very happy to have found this practice and am constantly impressed by the empathetic and attentive care I experience there.
I've taken my small animals to countless veterinarians over the years, but I've never met a veterinarian who is as competent, compassionate, and truly passionate about her profession as Dr. Jane Weisert. You could call her a calling. :-) I'm very grateful and happy that I discovered her practice and have been coming here ever since. I can always get a spontaneous appointment with the very friendly veterinary assistants, and endless wait times are practically nonexistent. I highly recommend the practice!
Where do I even begin and end? My Chihuahua was diagnosed with a tracheal collapse at another veterinary clinic on Saturday. They said there was nothing they could do and she would have to be euthanized. Luckily, we didn't do that on Saturday. I wanted to get a second opinion and came across Dr. Weisert's practice. Even when I made the appointment yesterday, she was very attentive and took my concerns seriously. I got an appointment for the very next day. Dr. Weisert is by far the most loving and considerate veterinarian I have ever met. A real gem. She took my concerns seriously and was incredibly empathetic and caring. Not only my dog, but I, as her owner, felt completely at ease. She examined my dog, and what can I say? The diagnosis from Saturday was wrong, and I should have had my dog euthanized yesterday. For nothing... Ms. Weisert showed me the new X-rays and explained everything in detail, and there was no sign of tracheal collapse. Thank you to Ms. Weisert and her wonderful team!! I will remain a loyal patient!
This was my first visit to Dr. Jane and her team, and I was very pleased. She was incredibly patient, calm, and loving with our rescue dog and took plenty of time to explain everything to us. I would gladly come again.
