Reviews
I got an appointment for my dachshund immediately. Dr. von Lützow and the ladies at the practice are friendly, competent, and caring towards both the animal and its owner. Excellent all-around care. Physiotherapy is also offered – perfect.
My cat had an acute infection and eye inflammation. I was very worried. We got an appointment very quickly. The entire team was very friendly and attentive to my cat's needs. The examination and subsequent consultation were very professional. Even a day later, when I needed medical information over the phone, I received very friendly and professional help. My cat recovered very quickly, and we are both very happy about it. We would both like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire team at the veterinary practice, which we can recommend with a clear conscience.
I went there spontaneously after my dog was attacked (during the practice's lunch break!) and received immediate help. (The wait felt like 10 seconds.) I can't judge whether the examination was professionally competent (I stayed in the waiting area and I'm not a veterinarian), but I can say that I was treated very kindly and respectfully, and my dog was much calmer and happier afterwards (before, he was restless and anxious).
Since Mr. Lützow left, I've been dissatisfied with the treatment. Costs are rising without any added value for the patient or the client. One of our dogs is very anxious and needs to be sedated for examinations or treatments. Unfortunately, the staff there aren't able to administer an oral medication that would sedate the dog sufficiently for stress-free treatment. Their response: "We don't have that medication." Instead, they administer infrequent tranquilizers, which are ineffective and only increase costs and suffering significantly. I have no understanding for this and won't be coming back.
I haven't been there long, but my cat Toni feels very well cared for there and isn't even afraid. When you call, they immediately know it's about Toni. He even gets a personal postcard when he has a vaccination appointment.
