I took my Havanese dog, Emmi, to Dr. Wellen's veterinary clinic in Neu-Isenburg on July 22nd and 29th. Dr. Wellen was able to help Emmi quickly and competently. She handles my dog ​​very well and is very friendly. I felt very well cared for. Highly recommended.

They were very quick to diagnose my cat and schedule the eye surgery. They removed all the cancer and now my cat is going to hopefully live a long and happy life. Thank you to the team!

Our dog Carlos had problems with his right eye. Our vet prescribed antibiotic drops, which didn't help. Then antibiotic ointment, which also didn't help. The eye was watering and discharging a little pus. Thankfully, we got an appointment quite quickly at the eye clinic in Kalbach. Both the veterinary assistant and the doctor were very friendly, took their time, and examined him very thoroughly. It was a tear duct infection, not conjunctivitis, as our regular vet had diagnosed! The eye was flushed several times and already looks much better. Carlos is also in a better mood again. The procedure will be repeated in two days. We are very pleased.

On the recommendation of our regular veterinarian, we took our cat to this practice. Unfortunately, our experience with the attending veterinarian, Ms. Wellen, was very disappointing. From the very beginning of the consultation, Ms. Wellen seemed impatient. When I tried to explain the previous findings from our regular vet, she constantly interrupted me; it was nearly impossible to let me finish speaking. The very tense atmosphere emanating from the vet unfortunately transferred directly to our cat. Although the animal is normally easy to handle and hadn't bitten, scratched, or hissed (she simply tried to jump off the table), Ms. Wellen portrayed her as highly aggressive. With so much professional experience, I would have expected significantly more empathy and sensitivity in her handling of the animal. The intimidating atmosphere in the room ultimately made me too afraid to even ask any further technical questions about the findings. Since the waiting room was completely empty, this behavior cannot be explained by acute stress or time pressure. Although the animal is normally easy to handle and hadn't bitten, scratched, or hissed (she simply tried to jump off the table), Ms. Wellen portrayed her as highly aggressive. A major plus: The veterinary assistant was very friendly. When she arrived to hold our cat, she immediately exuded calm and spoke very kindly to her. This made the situation much easier. (Thank you!) The contrast became clear the following day at our regular vet: There, a blood draw went completely smoothly and stress-free thanks to her patience, empathy, and love for animals. We will definitely refrain from making any further appointments with Ms. Wellen.
