Still filled with emotion, we are writing about our Camillo, a 9-month-old white Swiss Shepherd. Camillo was suffering from loss of appetite, digestive problems, fever, and heavy panting. Because even medication and antibiotics brought no improvement, our vet recommended we go to the Veterinary Health Center in Töging am Inn. It was early Saturday morning, and the attending veterinarian, Dr. Abaya, immediately took care of our Camillo. The clearly structured diagnostic procedure quickly located a problem in his digestive tract, and the next step to confirm the initial diagnosis was initiated. On Sunday, Camillo underwent surgery on his intestines. This swift and decisive action ultimately saved our beloved dog's life. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Abaya and his team. The clinic staff is very friendly and competent, both on the phone and in person. We highly recommend the Veterinary Health Center. Elke and Josef Schmidt White Shepherd Kennel vom Isartal

I'm not writing this review out of anger, but out of deep pain. I'm not one to write reviews—maybe a handful in my entire life. But what we experienced here leaves me speechless. Our cat arrived at the clinic with severe, recurring seizures. On the very first evening, I asked if it wouldn't be more humane to euthanize her, as the seizures were occurring every minute. The response was essentially: "She's just having seizures; that's no reason to put her down." Those words still haunt me. We were repeatedly told that her condition was improving. On the phone, we were told she was having few or no seizures—while during a visit, we saw her having multiple seizures within just a few minutes. She had a fever for days, which was dismissed as "stress-related." Instead of finding the cause, she was sedated for over a week. Diagnostic results were announced multiple times and repeatedly postponed. When we inquired about when samples were actually sent, there was no clear answer. For us, it felt like we were being kept in the dark while our cat visibly deteriorated. In the end, she was severely weakened, developed anemia, and her liver values drastically worsened. New suspicions only arose very late – by then, she was practically at the end of her rope. What hurts most is not just the loss, but the feeling that her suffering may have been prolonged. That we were given false hope when honesty was needed. And that today we have to live with the agonizing question of whether we should have said goodbye sooner – if we had been given different advice. I hope that this review will encourage other pet owners to ask more critical questions and that in the future, people who entrust their animals to strangers – in complete confidence – will be treated more openly, honestly, and transparently. Our cat was a member of the family. And we miss her every single day.
