Super Team
We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved cat, and it has left us heartbroken. We feel deep sadness not just because of the loss, but also because of how his care was handled throughout his illness. When he was first diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, we were only advised to change his diet. Looking back, I believe more could and should have been done. There were opportunities to explain his test results in detail, to guide us through what they meant, and to discuss additional treatments or preventative measures that could have helped manage his condition. Instead, it often felt like important information was left out unless we specifically asked. We constantly had to bring up questions ourselves to understand what was happening. On his final day, when he was very sick and struggling to breathe (after 3 days of IV treatment that did not improve his condition) we rushed him to you. Even then, we were asked to wait in the waiting room while he was clearly suffering, until this was highlighted. I believe more compassion could have been there in such a painful moment. We trusted you with his care and wish the communication and support had been stronger throughout his illness. We hope that in the future, more time will be spent helping pet owners understand their pet’s condition early on, so that no one else has to experience this same heartbreak. If your pet is diagnosed with CKD or any serious condition, we urge you to ask for detailed explanations and explore all possible care options early.

I went to this veterinary practice because I urgently needed a necessary medication for my pet, but I didn’t receive it. Last time, there was a very nice veterinarian who discussed everything with me in detail. This time, I was told that he wasn’t there, and instead I was treated arrogantly and just told to make an appointment. Very disappointing experience.
