If I could, I would have given zero stars. I haven't seen such unfriendly and disrespectful behavior in a long time. I received no help whatsoever, and on the phone he even told me that he unfortunately didn't have the illness that had to be euthanized for my cat. And when he saw how thin my cat had become, he immediately said that nothing could be done for her… Now, two weeks later, my cat is doing better thanks to other veterinarians.
I would give zero stars if I could, because I'm still appalled by this vet visit. Today was the FIRST time I'd taken my 9-week-old Maltipoo to the vet because he's coughing. As we were looking around the practice, the assistant handed me a form and said, "Please fill this out, sign it, and bring it back." Okay, a bit unfriendly, but I didn't think anything of it yet. After a 10-minute wait, we were called in. The vet greeted me with the words, "Well, from an animal welfare perspective, I can tell you that I find it extremely concerning to bring a 7-week-old puppy here. He probably hasn't even been vaccinated." I was speechless at first, but the assistant added, "Where did you get him, from a car sale?" Then I composed myself briefly and explained that the dog was 9 weeks old, that he came from a breeder, and that he had already received his first vaccination. Then I added that I was bringing the dog in today specifically because he has a cough and because I am indeed a responsible pet owner. This is my third puppy, and I've seen quite a few vets over the past few decades, but THIS really topped them ALL!!! I found it absolutely appalling. I will NEVER set foot in that practice again!!!!!
We've been taking our dogs there for about two years and are very happy. We're always greeted warmly, they take their time, and everything is explained clearly. We especially appreciate their hygiene protocols: The waiting room is usually empty, so our dogs don't have contact with sick animals (emergencies excepted, of course). We also think it's very sensible, from a hygiene perspective, that there are no shared water bowls. Appointments are always kept reliably – you're seen on time and don't have to wait unnecessarily long. We feel very well cared for there with our dogs.
Fantastic veterinarian, super friendly and helpful. You really feel understood when you have problems. We've been taking our cat there for two years now, and now our puppy too. I can highly recommend them! 👍🏽
