Caring, professional, and effective. Took the pup in for melanoma and some dental work and got great care. They speak excellent English, mercifully. Look at this sparkling smile.

Highly recommend! Kind staff, easy to get an appointment via email, the staff speak English and German, and they are always so kind and patient with our rescue dog who has so much stress and anxiety at the vet. Thank you so much Tierarztpraxis am Urbanhafen team!

Before you decide to take your beloved pet to this vet’s office, please take a few minutes to read my story. I took my cat to this clinic because she had lumps around her mammary glands. I was told to “keep an eye on it” and return in six months. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion a few weeks later. The second vet immediately recognised it as aggressive mammary cancer requiring urgent surgery. Pathology later confirmed it was a malignant, aggressive tumour. My cat has now undergone major surgery and is still not out of the woods because there is a serious risk of metastasis to the lungs. Had I followed the original advice and waited six months, she would not have survived. I still do not know whether she will survive, and I deeply regret waiting even a few weeks before seeking a second opinion. Long story (relatively) short: I strongly suggest finding another vet.

You have to wait a long time even if you have an appointment. Anything from 25-65 minutes which is hard if you have to return to work. Price is not really standardized and so far we have seen 3 different doctors - each one with a different approach to our puppy.

This Vet has excellent staff. My dog got very sick during our trip. She spent a week vomiting and got diarrhea. They gave her antibiotics with few shots and my dog got better within 3 days. They also helped with traveling docs. I was recommended by some friends and now I recommend them.
