My dog had a wound, and the vet said it wasn't serious and would go away with an ointment! As soon as I went to another vet, he immediately told me he needed emergency surgery because otherwise my dog could die! Thank God I didn't wait long and found the new vet who saved my dog's life!

The best veterinarian there is! She takes her time with all patients and is gentle yet compassionate in her handling of the animals. Even when I had to have my then 15-year-old male dog put down, she provided us with wonderful support. Likewise, when my (now 10-year-old) female dog was diagnosed with cancer, Ms. Clemm was truly a rock for me. I have never felt so well-advised and cared for by any other veterinarian! As long as I live in the Nauheim area, no other practice would be an option for me!

I was there with my one-year-old dog. She's perfectly healthy. When the vet found out my dog had hepatozoonosis, she wanted to put her down immediately. She gave me a lecture about why I was rescuing a dog from abroad and that because of "dogs like that," all dogs in Germany would soon be infected… she said I should have her put down as soon as she had even a single day of fever. After that, I got many more opinions. All the vets were stunned when I told them. 1. Hepatozoonosis is NOT contagious. 2. In many dogs, the disease never manifests. 3. Even if it does manifest, there are still things that can be done. That's absolutely outrageous!!
