NEVER AGAIN! and not recommended at all! We asked for an x-ray of our cat twice. They didn't think it was necessary; they took blood first, and at the second appointment, he gave us antibiotics. Our cat had a swollen face on one side, with watery eyes and a runny nose, and he was constantly sneezing. Since our request was ignored, we went to another vet, who does an incredible job and takes good care of the animal. Unfortunately, we had to put our cat down, as it was immediately clear from the x-ray what was wrong. If our request had simply been followed, our cat wouldn't have had to suffer any longer! Veterinarians should act in the best interests of the animal and not on their own whim. Unfortunately, this is already the second incident in our practice. The same thing happened with our first cat: an x-ray/ultrasound was refused, and two days later, he had to undergo emergency surgery.
