Tierarztpraxis Dr. Jörg Rottmayer

I'm not entirely satisfied with Mr. Rottmayer. I think he handles the animals well and seems professionally competent, but the examinations could definitely be more thorough. However, I also have to say that his treatment of "clients" is, in my opinion, somewhat questionable. A few months ago, we called about a sample we wanted to submit and definitely gave our last name. While we were waiting in the waiting room with other people, he came in and asked, almost as an afterthought, "So, what's supposed to happen with the sample? Should I create a diarrhea profile?" I said yes because I didn't really know what else could be done. He then said, "Your last name was XY, wasn't it?" I pointed out my correct last name. Then he simply said (somewhat rudely, in my opinion), "You identified yourself under the name XY, didn't you?!" That cleared things up, but is it really necessary to say something like that in front of everyone else in the waiting room? I didn't find his approach very pleasant. We then switched to another veterinary practice. Otherwise, I think he's doing a good job.

Dr. Rottmayer is always professionally competent and empathetic. I have been treating my dogs for many years and am very satisfied. The focus is always on the animal's well-being, and all procedures are explained in detail to the owner. We are very fortunate to have found a reliable contact in him who is always available to provide advice and support.
