Tierarztpraxis Dr. med. vet. Robert Schmitz

In my opinion, Dr. Schmitz is a highly skilled and experienced veterinarian. During our appointment to diagnose an arrhythmia, he took ample time, explained everything clearly, and handled the horse well. Unfortunately, I have been waiting for months for the written report of the examination – the appointment was at the end of August 2020. I was assured that I would receive the report by email. Dr. Schmitz is no longer reachable. He has repeatedly ignored emails and voicemail messages. Two weeks ago, I ran into him by chance at the stable and again requested the written report. He assured me he would send it – but to this day, NOTHING has happened. I have since heard that several other clients are experiencing the same issue. I now feel compelled to take this route to draw attention to my case. It is very frustrating that all this trouble has made me less able to appreciate Dr. Schmitz's otherwise excellent work!

Dr. Schmitz is a very good veterinarian. He takes his time and always explains everything in detail. I feel very comfortable with him and have complete confidence in his work and knowledge.

Dr. Schmitz is a highly qualified and pleasant veterinarian with extensive experience. Reliable, always level-headed, and respectful in his interactions with his animal patients, he has been with us for many years. Top-notch!

What a competent, calm, and personable doctor and horse expert! We had two excellent experiences with him. Last year, he operated on my daughter's mare after an accident on-site, and although the conditions were difficult (the deep wound was very dirty), and he operated outdoors, everything healed perfectly. Even then, it was noticeable how positively he affected an injured and anxious horse. Today, he extracted my daughter's young horse's wolf teeth and ground down the tips of her molars. He works calmly and quickly, explains everything, and conveys a sense of security to both horse and rider. A fantastic experience! We are very grateful.
