The practice is no good for rabbits. During the examination, she was covered with a wet, and probably still used, rag. My doe could barely breathe and gasped for air. The rag wasn't removed, and we were so frustrated that we had to abort the examination. The nose must remain uncovered during this procedure; even the best veterinarians in America do it this way. Mr. Huppert, however, insisted on leaving it completely over the face. Rabbits are treated like fair game there.

My wife felt she was in good hands there. The vet took his time even though she went there on short notice. Sadly, our rabbit Schnucki, who lived to be euthanized at 12 years old, didn't make it. 😢 My wife found the euthanasia process to be empathetic and not overly eager. The vet examined her, tried everything possible, and explained everything clearly. Unfortunately, there wasn't much more that could be done for Schnucki... We, as a family, thank you very much. A fantastic practice where you feel completely in good hands. Everything is always explained perfectly, and my guinea pigs are always helped quickly! In emergencies, they act quickly, and you can come in right away. You can tell that the people at the practice care not only about the welfare of the animals, but also about their owners! Yesterday, I visited Dr. Huppert's practice for the first time with our Labrador as a new patient. Our dog was unable to put weight on his feet. He had likely injured himself after a sprint. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment immediately. Dr. Huppert examined our dog thoroughly and discovered that his ears were quite dirty and required treatment. He explained everything to us very clearly and discussed the next steps. We felt very well cared for from the beginning, and even our dog, who was naturally nervous, didn't show the usual signs of stress he had experienced with his previous vet. In fact, our dog is feeling much better today. Of course, nobody likes having to take their pet to the vet, unless it's for routine checkups or vaccinations, but knowing you're in good hands when necessary is reassuring. I'd also like to mention that the entire process, from scheduling the appointment to the care provided by the practice team, was excellent.
