Absolutely satisfied and felt well-advised. We were probably also lucky that it wasn't busy, which was perfect for my Chihuahua who's never been to the vet before. No unnecessary injections. Good advice regarding neutering and microchipping. Excellent value for money – we'll definitely be back! ☺️
I was a patient of this veterinarian for an extended period and was always very satisfied. Due to a move, I no longer go there, not because of any dissatisfaction. We regularly had annual check-ups done. Appointments were usually available quickly, and the advice was always professional, clear, and thorough. She always handled the animals calmly and with great care. Overall, she is a highly competent veterinarian whom I can wholeheartedly recommend.
Unfortunately, I only discovered this wonderful veterinary practice for my Great Danes a year ago. Whether it's Dr. Erbstein or Dr. Ponweiser, both veterinarians are highly competent, take their time, ask questions, and welcome any questions you may have. The waiting room is large enough to allow for plenty of space, and parking is always available. I look forward to these highly skilled veterinarians guiding me through my future Great Dane breeding program!
My cat, injured in an accident, was treated for several weeks (!!) solely for inducing vomiting. After persistent requests for additional treatment, a blood test was finally performed, revealing fatally low levels of symptoms, but even then, no action was taken. The cat ultimately died five weeks after the accident (from a surgically repairable abdominal wall rupture), after six visits to this veterinary practice. For example, the cat was only weighed during the initial visit; otherwise, a rapid weight loss of over 1.5 kg would have been noticed. NEVER AGAIN. If your beloved pets are worth anything to you, please seek out a competent veterinarian. This practice seems to be offering nothing more than homeopathic treatment and working under the table (no billing) – you should definitely investigate further.
Perhaps good for annual checkups, but if you have a serious problem – stay away!!!! We were initially very impressed with this vet. A week ago, we went to her practice because of a lump on my dog's neck. I told the vet that the lump had grown noticeably large within a week. Blood tests were done, which supposedly came back normal. Now, a week later, the dog had to have emergency surgery because the lump had grown significantly again and was already attached to the carotid artery. Apparently, inflammation markers weren't checked during the blood test, as the level was six times higher than normal today. Now we're hoping the dog pulls through. Not recommended!!
