When we came to Barbara's practice in March 2022 with our then 12-year-old Roy, we received a very warm welcome. Since Roy was unfortunately diagnosed with a rapidly growing tumor in May, we had to visit her more frequently. But whenever Roy wasn't feeling well, or we couldn't get to her practice, Barbara always showed great dedication and drove to our home herself to ensure he received the appropriate treatment. She did everything she could to give our beloved Roy the best possible life. Even when we started dendritic cell therapy, she was always there for us, taking blood from Roy every three weeks and injecting him with the immune cells produced in the lab nine days later. Sadly, it was unsuccessful. On September 2, 2022, we had to let our beloved Roy go, and Barbara made it possible for him to pass away peacefully in his garden. Roy is and always will be a fighter who never let cancer give him up and cherished every extra day he had with us. What was always special was that he was always happy to see Barbara at a certain spot in Ostrau. The way she cared for Roy and gave him a new lease on life was truly exceptional, and no other veterinarian would have done what she did. You made our Roy feel that same sense of security, and I'm 100% sure he's taken you to heart. Dominik, Alex, and Romy would like to thank Barbara for the wonderful time we spent with our Roy.
