Very disappointed!

I called him on a Saturday when he was on call. My cat had been in a nasty accident. On the phone, he laughed and said, "Well, at least she's still alive..." Then I took the cat to the clinic, and he greeted me with, "Are you the woman with the decapitated cat?" Two sentences that no worried pet owner wants to hear... He dismissed a claw injury as nothing serious, but on Monday at our regular vet, what he called "nothing serious" turned out to be very serious indeed. The paw was fractured, the nail bed was showing because the claw had torn off, and so on... We had even more problems after the "nothing serious" diagnosis... To top it all off, he prescribed medication that our cat, who has a heart condition, can't tolerate... Never again...

The way he handled my cat was wonderful! He answered all my questions, didn't leave me hanging, and took plenty of time. His wife is so lovely too! Even though it's a bit more expensive than elsewhere, I think the chemistry has to be right. And my animals are worth every penny! Furthermore, I really appreciated being able to wait for the surgery and then take Milly home with me right away. I also found the waiting room very pleasant. You don't feel cramped there like chickens on a perch; it's very comfortable.

This vet knows exactly what he's doing and how to "competently" extract money from you. The animal isn't his priority; it's all about the money. Absolutely not recommended! Be extremely wary of this man!
