Completely satisfied; it was our first time at Dr. Zimmermann's practice. Our cat needed major dental surgery, and everything went very smoothly, from the blood test to the operation itself. I'd also like to mention the reasonable costs at this practice; at another practice, we would have paid more than twice as much for the same procedure. Thank you for the excellent care.

We had been patients of Ms. Zimmermann for many years, sometimes with four animals at a time, and were always very satisfied. When I brought my 13-year-old dog to her in April to have his cough checked out, I was told he had a cold and a sore throat. Many appointments followed. First, he got better, then worse again. Suddenly, an X-ray showed pneumonia. So, more medication. After his condition worsened and he began having difficulty breathing, we were advised to go to an animal hospital. We drove to Leipzig that evening and had to leave our beloved dog there as an emergency case. The diagnosis was indeed his heart! The very reason I had initially gone to Ms. Zimmermann! Ultimately, it was a pericardial effusion due to cancer. Our dog was very ill and would have died anyway. But he was misdiagnosed for almost four weeks, and the true cause wasn't recognized! After we brought him home from the animal hospital, knowing he didn't have much longer to live, we only had twelve hours left before we had to let him go. We called Ms. Zimmermann during his death throes, observing the symptoms we described. Her response was: "If it's not better by the afternoon, call again!" We had to have the emergency vet euthanize him after three-quarters of an hour because otherwise he would have suffocated! It's worth mentioning that Ms. Zimmermann wasn't on duty at the time, but her assessment was completely wrong nonetheless, even though we described him excreting excessive mucus and rolling his eyes. It was 9:38 a.m., and we were told to call again in the afternoon?! We always felt well cared for by Ms. Zimmermann, which is unfortunately no longer the case at all! One star, because it's the only one!

We are so glad we found this practice. Charly was an emergency case and we were able to get an appointment immediately on the same day. Our first impression of the practice was very good. The treatment was excellent. The vet and staff were very friendly and highly competent, and above all, they treated both people and animals with great care. They were able to help our Charly, and we thank them on Charly's behalf for the attentive care and treatment. I would gladly recommend this practice.
