Reviews
The Clinic doctors and staff are very professional, the walk through of what is happening, what will happen and when was straightforward, the costs were explained ahead of any procedures. Our cat is recovering very well at home now, and we are very grateful.
This is the absolute best veterinary clinic. There is also no human clinic that even comes close to this incredibly good clinic. From the professionalism of the doctors to the friendliness and treatment of the animals and owners to the technological level of the clinic and the feedback and improvement culture, this clinic really was 10/10. In our case, a surgical miracle was performed - the chance of survival was absolutely slim, but when Django our Rottweiler came out of the clinic, he was his old self again. Django was treated like a prince and was super excited to come back even after those hardships that he experienced.
I had to go to Tierklinik Oberhaching with my cat today, because she had a biopsy and the bleeding from the incision would’t stop overnight. Already the team on the phone was very friendly and asked all the important questions for them, so they can take her in fast, if need be. We waited for almost an hour, which is absolutely expected from a Notdienstklinik, especially on easter holiday. I’ve had much longer waiting times at other kliniks. They also have coffee and tea you can get from their machine, which seems like such an unimportant detail, but when you woke up very early and are stressed to be there, that effort was much appreciated by me and my partner. I also want to do a shout out to our doctor Tamara Mair. She is one of the sweetest, most understanding and compasionate doctors I’ve ever met. She read my little friends history and accomodated to her needs, which is sadly not a given everywhere. She took her time with us and even called to update us when we had to leave her there for monitoring. When we picked her up, I saw that she wrote her name and for the i in her name put a little heart, which just melted my heart. I’ve felt very heard, seen and cared for my cat. Every part of this klinik from reception to doctors to TFAs has been amazing to us today. Also the klinik is very modern and thought through. I’d absolutely recommend this klinik. I hope that, we don’t have to visit them anytime soon, but it’s very good to know that they’re there. Thank you so much again to the Klinik Team of Oberhaching!
The clinic was able to see us for second opinion regarding a possible infection to surgical site. Determining an infection was present and was serious, we were slotted in urgently for surgery with all the care and explanation necessary to have us feel comfortable. The practice was very caring, diligent, and clear on our dogs care and the infection appears removed and healing well (now a few weeks later). Highly recommend. Also not that this facility has many specialists including dental, neurology, cardiology, and emergency care 24/7.
We have taken our dog to this veterinary clinic several times due to a urinary infection, and from the very first day the experience has been excellent. Everyone has been incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely willing to help from the reception staff to the veterinarians. Getting an appointment is always fast, and there is a constant sense of care and genuine concern for our dog. My husband speaks German but I don’t, and they always make the effort to speak English and conduct the consultation in a way I can fully understand, which I truly appreciate. We’ve had emergency visits as well as scheduled appointments. On one occasion, we had to wait several hours because a urinary infection was not considered an emergency. Even so, they apologized multiple times, despite us explaining that we completely understood that more critical cases needed to be prioritized. The facilities are comfortable and very well equipped. They can perform all necessary tests in one place, and urine test results are available within minutes. At no point did we feel that unnecessary tests were being done, everything felt justified and well explained. The staff is also extremely patient with our dog, who behaves badly and really doesn’t like going to the vet. They always tried to adapt and avoid invasive procedures for as long as possible. When it finally became necessary to perform a procedure, they used medical sedation, and I’m truly grateful for that because it helped reduce his stress and discomfort. Excellent care and professionalism, I can’t recommend this clinic enough.
