Willi & Renate's amazing team are always incredibly dedicated and friendly in every case. It's sad that such a fantastic group has to finance everything themselves. A self-built, 24/7-available business like this really should be supported by the government. Animal shelters have opening hours, but Willi & Renate's animal rescue doesn't. Even if they're both busy, they're always happy to help over the phone, no matter how seemingly insignificant the case. It's always worth dropping by, whether just for a quick visit or with a small donation (food, blankets, etc.). You'll always receive a warm welcome ❤️ from both the two-legged and four-legged residents: "Dog Titan" Apollo, "Chieftain" Spike, Speedy, Baghira, and the whole gang. THANK YOU for being there, Willy, Renate & Co! The world needs people like you. 💪🐶🐈❤️🌈
Unfortunately, zero stars isn't an option. I called today to say that a small deer was trapped in our semi-detached house complex and couldn't get out on its own. I was asked three times if I was absolutely sure it wasn't a dog. I was told I should send photos first. I did, and then I never heard from the gentleman again.

A stray dog was found at a motorway service station quite a distance from Linz, yet the Linz Animal Rescue was the only organization to take him in. They handled the animal with such care and the communication with the rescue driver was excellent! Of course, there was a wait, but there aren't many such organizations, and emergencies and ongoing calls are handled in order of priority. I am incredibly grateful to the gentleman and so happy that the dog is safe and well!
Here and now, there are many volunteers who are dedicated to animal welfare. It's very well organized.
