Great vet. He's now caring for our second Cocker Spaniel – the first lived to be 17 thanks to his care. We're incredibly lucky to have such an experienced vet, who also operates himself when necessary, on our side. We're very grateful and will happily take our dog to Dr. Mech as long as we can.

I took my two guinea pigs to this vet over ten years ago – one of them was pregnant. She died one day after the examination, and to this day I've never been able to explain why. Even then, I was very confused by the way they were treated and the type of examination. Now, after reading many similar accounts from other pet owners, I'm shocked that nothing seems to have changed and that so many people have lost their animals. In my opinion, a veterinarian should always act with the utmost care and compassion – unfortunately, I didn't experience that here.

To get a second opinion on our dog/family member Willy's medical condition, a friend recommended contacting Dr. Mech in Cologne-Weiden. She had previously had very positive experiences with her dog Phia at this practice. It was the best decision we could have made for Willy.
