Absolutely not! Definitely not recommended! She was unfriendly from the moment we arrived, as the stable only has beams at the very top of the ceiling (she could have mentioned on the phone that beams were needed to suspend the horse's head). Before the sedation, my horses weren't listened to, nor was their weight checked! When she started working on the teeth, my horse backed away a little, whereupon she immediately snapped at me, saying that you can't work like that, and injected even more sedation. Throughout the entire treatment, she was extremely unfair to the horse. As soon as it even twitched slightly or turned its head a little, she jerked it back into position. This was especially problematic since the horse's head was suspended, meaning its neck was already extremely overextended. After the treatment, my horse had to lie down flat to cope with the sedation. She sedated my Shetland pony so heavily that it kept slipping with its hind legs during the procedure. The sedation was definitely too strong for both horses! On top of that, the bill was very high. I've paid significantly less at other dentists. Absolutely not recommended: unfriendly, overpriced, and not interested in the horse's well-being!
My mare needed two teeth extracted, and after the sedation, when she wasn't standing properly, I was told to hit her hard on the forehead to make her stand up on her own. That was too much for me and, in my opinion, borders on animal cruelty. They also lure you in with a price that's far below what they actually charge; in this case, they charged €1160 for two teeth and, when I asked, argued, "You could have asked what a little extra would actually cost!" Absolutely outrageous! Never again!
