We had to take our Chihuahua to the vet for an emergency while on vacation. We were then referred to Dr. Stolzefuß over the phone. A very competent veterinarian, and he took wonderful care of our little one. Unfortunately, I can't give more than 5 stars.
We took one of our cats there last week. She had a scratch in her ear and was showing signs of pain. Dr. Stolzefuß examined the ear, prescribed an ointment, showed us how and when to apply it, and said we should use it for 8-10 days. Just as we were about to put the cat back in her bed, he noticed a small clump of fur and immediately checked her again more closely. I was very impressed; he really seems to pay attention to every detail. The cat is feeling much better now, and I can finally pet her ear again! :) We also took another cat there for emergency treatment years ago. Unfortunately, she had had very bad experiences with veterinarians and is quite aggressive when she encounters one. He handled her with remarkable composure; she was drooling a lot at the time, and he figured out that she had probably come across a stink bug. He holds her wonderfully! So, I'm very satisfied.
Absolutely fantastic old-school vet, he examined my Weimaraner properly, prescribed the right medication, and finally fixed his eye problem after over a year 🐕 thank you 😅 We'll definitely be back 😆🦮
I was turned away because they supposedly don't have an X-ray machine. Besides, I've known this vet for 20 years, and he's very rough with animals and only treats cows, horses, and large farm animals. On top of that, my neighbor goes there regularly and knows they have an X-ray machine. The woman on the phone was apparently his wife; she was very unfriendly. So, I can't recommend it. Be careful if you don't have money or can only pay in installments; they'll turn you away. Beware.
We've been taking our cats there for years and are more than satisfied. They always take excellent care of our cats and are very sensitive and understanding. Our trusted veterinarian 🙏👍
