Reviews
We've been patients with our now 17.5-year-old dog since the beginning. Our last visit was definitely our last with Mr. Löcherbach. He has truly been an unbeatable veterinarian and has helped us tremendously in many situations. We stopped giving her half a heart pill about 1.5 years ago because she was becoming increasingly nervous and had coughing fits. Since stopping the medication, she hasn't had any more coughing fits and is much more relaxed. We simply wanted to have her checked to see if she was still doing well at her advanced age. The only response I received was, "The dog is blind," and "Where did you buy the heart medication?" "Buy it somewhere else and now come to me..." I think someone here should consider retirement. We will definitely not be going back.
A wonderful veterinarian! He treats animals without painkillers, using his whole heart and soul! He also speaks openly and honestly about what the owner might be doing wrong. A truly very, very kind vet! During treatment, he explains his procedures in detail, including how different things work in the animal and how certain issues arise. Our Carlson feels very comfortable with him. He's incomparable to other veterinarians; his heart is clearly the most important thing! Thank you for your help! Best regards, Annalena and Carlson! 😇
Not everyone's favorite, but ALWAYS available in the evenings or on weekends, and in an emergency, you can even come in at midnight. He always finds a way to help the animals. And his wife supports him in everything. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, goats – in 40 years, he's treated everything more than satisfactorily. And as harsh as he sometimes comes across, he's just as compassionate when it comes to euthanasia. As long as he's still practicing, there will be no alternative for our animals. If he ever stops, we'll have a real problem, because even accessibility is a problem for others. After all, emergencies, as we all know, don't happen during normal business hours.
Absolutely not recommended anymore. Dr. Löcherbach is very competent professionally and has helped us a great deal on several occasions, but that was years ago. He has always been a complete disaster as a person, but it has gotten much worse now that he is older. He doesn't listen properly anymore and then claims that you yourself are the problem. In my opinion, he should have retired long ago!
