Unfortunately, I can only give one star, and if I could, I'd even change it to a negative one. The reason: On November 20, 2024, my dog ​​had a seizure. At 4:00 AM, it's unfortunately difficult to get treatment in Göttingen. My first call was to the emergency veterinary service. I reached a woman there who was completely overwhelmed. So I called the Gremmes practice, since the word "emergency service" was prominently displayed three times on their homepage. The lovely lady there first asked if I was a client, and then told me to put the animal in a crate once it stopped convulsing and bring it in for an appointment. When I pointed out the time, she replied, "Oh yes, then maybe call the emergency service." (Lord, give me some common sense...) I then took my dog ​​to the animal hospital in Kaufungen, where they tried everything, but unfortunately had to inform me that evening that my dog ​​hadn't made it. Dear practice team: Please remove the emergency service information from your website. Write in bold letters that you only offer emergency services for your customers. Because of this misleading advertising, I lost valuable time that could have saved my dog. We were customers... now definitely not anymore. What a shame!

Unbelievable! A dog is seriously ill and desperately needs help, unable to walk. When I asked if he could come over since I couldn't carry the dog, my girlfriend was verbally abused on the phone, with comments like, "When does a hospital come to the patient?" I almost exploded. I just thought, "Watch out, or my fist will end up in your shopping cart!" Seriously, that's just unacceptable!

We were assured over the phone that we could obtain a vital heart medication for our 18-year-old cat using an old invoice, as our veterinarian was on vacation. This was then refused in person. The doctor seemed unfriendly and insensitive. The conflicting information was very disappointing. Luckily, a veterinary clinic subsequently helped us without any fuss and dispensed the medication. One star is still too generous!

We are extremely satisfied with this practice. Since my dog ​​couldn't/wouldn't get the help he needed at another practice, we went to Dr. Gremmes' practice. If the vet hadn't done what I insisted on, which another vet at the other practice refused to do, I probably would have lost my dog ​​to an intestinal obstruction. A thousand thanks to Dr. Gremmes and his colleagues! 😁 We will continue to go there because everything is just perfect.
