Reviews
Dr. Mitra was very empathetic with our cat. She explained everything clearly and was always friendly and accommodating.
A truly wonderful practice and veterinarian! I'm thrilled with the loving and sensitive nature of the vet (Dr. Müller), who takes her time and handles my dog incredibly well. I'm so glad I found this practice and am very impressed with the organization. For example, my dog has issues with larger dogs, and we were allowed to wait in a separate area so he could calm down. Many thanks to the entire practice team.
Dr. Mitra is such a lovely veterinarian; we love going to her. She takes her time, feeds the dogs, gently chides the owners if they don't praise their dogs, and tries to use love and treats instead of forcing them. A few years ago, she gave me a real dressing-down for not having positively trained my dogs to jump on the table as a dog trainer, and she looked at me askance because I didn't have any treats with me. She was right; I was completely unprepared! Shame on me. After that, I trained diligently, and the next time, the dogs jumped onto the table like little angels, devoured two packs of treats, and were as happy as clams about the treatment and Dr. Mitra. The vet also explains a lot while she's at it and lets me watch. I hope Dr. Mitra stays with us for a long time. I wish more vets would work with positive reinforcement and rewards, and not just carelessly throw down a piece of kibble at the end. Dr. Mitra praises the dogs before, during, and after treatment. After so many years as a veterinarian, she still enjoys seeing dogs and says things like, "What a great team, such lovely/wonderful dogs, etc." Once, one of my dogs (a guide dog) was mistreated elsewhere and even had eye surgery. It didn't get better. I then went to Dr. Mitra, she looked at the records, and simply said, "Stop using that ointment"—the ointment the dog had been getting from the other vet for six months. What can I say? The inflammation stopped immediately; the dog was allergic to the ointment. I'm already worried about where we'll go when she stops using it. Anyway, thank you for all these years!
DOK Eye Examination with Dr. Mitra Sr. I've been there several times with different dogs over the last 8 years. However, I can only comment on the eye examination: very friendly, very calm, very pleasant, great way with the dogs. Very competent.
