Oggi is his best friend. Highly recommended. He's been looking after our dog for a few years now. We'd gladly use him again.
We picked up our dog from the boarding kennel and immediately went to the groomer, where we discovered he had worms. Since we had a house cat waiting at home and wanted to act quickly, we searched for a vet in the area on Google and, on a hunch, went to Dr. Beste's practice. Luckily for us, she was there even though it wasn't her usual office hours. I explained the situation to her, and since our regular vet wasn't available, she treated the dog right away and gave us medication for the cat. Dr. Beste is competent, friendly, and helped us even though she isn't our usual vet. Many thanks to her!
I took my dog to this veterinary practice because he has an unusual swelling in his mouth. My family has been there several times before, as the practice is easily accessible for us. My dog barks a lot in unfamiliar situations and gets agitated quickly. When we entered the examination room, I apologized for his noise and agitated behavior. Unfortunately, from the beginning, I felt that the situation wasn't being addressed. I was immediately told that no one would approach the dog. I understand that the safety of the staff is paramount and that a barking, agitated dog can be challenging. Nevertheless, I would have expected at least an attempt to find a solution together or to suggest possible measures. Instead, the veterinarian seemed very distant and uninterested in de-escalating the situation. I wonder why a veterinarian wouldn't have any protective gear on hand? When I asked for suggestions on how my dog could be restrained or calmed so they could examine the swelling, my suggestions were immediately dismissed. I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously. I found the communication style particularly disappointing. I found the tone unfriendly and lacking in empathy. Especially when you're worried about your pet, I would have expected more understanding and professionalism. In the end, the appointment only lasted a few minutes, and my dog wasn't even properly examined. Despite this, I was still charged €30. At least she gave me a referral to a veterinary clinic so the cause of the swelling could be investigated and treated. Overall, I got the impression that the practice isn't comfortable dealing with more challenging or particularly agitated patients. It's a shame, because these kinds of animals often need a little more patience and support. For me, the visit was therefore very disappointing.
Our vet for 13 years. We always enjoy bringing our dog to her. Competent and prompt treatment.
I took my dog to see Ms. Beste for emergency wound care. Even though my dog wasn't a patient of Ms. Beste's before and we didn't have an appointment, she took excellent care of him. I've never seen my dog so relaxed at the vet. Thank you so much!
