Today we took our little cat there and had him successfully neutered. The procedure went smoothly and was a positive experience. We were able to pick him up again after two hours. He's doing well and is full of energy. Thank you for your excellent care.
I saw on the Bremen Veterinary Chamber's website that this vet was on call on Sunday. I tried to reach someone for at least two hours, without success. The phone rang, but no one answered. Eventually, a message popped up with another number to call. I tried that number too, but it said it was disconnected! I tried different variations and area codes, but nothing worked. So, I couldn't get through to the emergency vet at all, which was incredibly stressful! I then drove 45 minutes to the nearest animal hospital. What's the point of the emergency service then?
First visit with our cat for a booster vaccination and nail trim. Very friendly welcome and good advice. They handled our cat perfectly and gave us helpful tips. We'll definitely be coming back!
Clearly not knowledgeable about birds. He didn't recognize that the young pigeon we found had trichomoniasis and deformities. He recommended feeding it rolled oats, which pigeons shouldn't eat at all. He also failed to explain that you shouldn't force-feed pigeons water because they can choke. Why not just be upfront about not knowing much about birds/pigeons so we could at least get information elsewhere or consult an avian veterinarian? The pigeon has since died.
