Dr. Doernberg has truly given our Elmo a new lease on life. The surgery on his soft palate and nose was a very worrying experience for us, but from the very first moment, we felt we were in excellent hands. With so much empathy, patience, and heart, she explained everything to us and treated Elmo with such loving care. It's immediately clear how much the well-being of animals means to her. The surgery went perfectly, and Elmo is doing so much better today – we are incredibly grateful. A doctor with great skill and an even bigger heart. Thank you, Dr. Doernberg, for everything you did for Elmo!
We had our 3.5-year-old French Bulldog operated on by Dr. Doernberg. Starting in the spring, our girl really struggles with walks, playing, and sunbathing. Anything above 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) is almost impossible for her. That's why we decided on surgery. We originally had an appointment in September 2026, but due to a cancellation, we were able to get an earlier appointment through the waiting list. That appointment was in March 2026. We are now about 5 weeks post-surgery and are thrilled. She plays more extensively and often. She's much more lively on walks and clearly enjoys them, even running short distances with great enthusiasm. We hope she'll be able to enjoy the summer much more. Before the surgery, we had a great consultation via Zoom, where there was plenty of time to get all our questions answered. Dr. Doernberg was always incredibly friendly, kind, and always respectful towards our girl. We highly recommend Dr. Doernberg. Thank you so much again for everything! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dr. von Doernberg operated on our French Bulldog, Carlo, in November. We felt incredibly well cared for at all times and knew our dog was in the best hands. Since the surgery, we hardly recognize him. He's full of life, eats better, and has fewer problems with high temperatures. We're so glad we decided to have the surgery and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you again to Dr. von Doernberg and the whole team! ❤️
We had our pug, Lotte, operated on by Dr. von Doernberg in March of this year due to increasing breathing difficulties. From the very beginning, we felt well-advised, informed, and in good hands. This eased our anxiety about the surgery. Dr. von Doernberg is the most competent and empathetic veterinarian I have ever met. This was evident on the day of the surgery, and Lotte was able to remain completely relaxed under anesthesia. The operation went perfectly, and Lotte recovered very quickly afterward—almost too quickly 🙈. The hardest part was keeping her calm 😅. We are also more than thrilled with the aftercare and are still in contact. Dr. von Doernberg was always available and reassured us whenever we had concerns. We are so grateful that Lotte is now doing much better and can breathe freely. We highly recommend her. Thank you so much for everything.
I had to have my two French Bulldogs, Sasha and Romeo, operated on by Dr. von Dornberg some time ago. Regardless of the fact that this breed is now rightly considered a product of cruel breeding practices, and that acquiring and breeding one should be very carefully and critically considered, it is every pet owner's duty to have a Bulldog with respiratory problems operated on to improve its quality of life. And for me, there is only Dr. von Dornberg! Her expertise, her experience in multilevel surgery, and her warm and helpful manner make her one of the best veterinarians in the field of ENT surgery for French Bulldogs. While I won't be getting another French Bulldog because I simply find the breed too prone to health problems, and it's unacceptable that breed-specific traits that significantly affect the dog can only be corrected through surgery, if I were faced with this decision again, I would always and exclusively entrust myself to Dr. von Dornberg. I contacted Dr. von Dornberg to help improve my dog's quality of life through her surgery. We sincerely thank Dr. von Dornberg for her exceptional expertise, which has significantly improved the quality of life for both my beloved pets, and wish her all the best for the future.
