Hof Thomsen

It was our second stay at the farm, and once again we are thrilled! After Mr. Thomsen arranged for us to stay for the summer at very short notice, even though the farm was already very full, we knew from the start that we would be somewhat limited in terms of space. Mr. Thomsen also provided us with an additional room. We had the exclusive right to stay above the riding arena. :-) We already knew it would be tight. For my son, it was another adventure. The accommodation was fantastic for him! Mr. Thomsen and the girls on the farm once again gave us an unforgettable time. We were able to help with the animals. My son once again had the pleasure of riding proudly in the tractor. The carriage ride was a must-have. This time we had the opportunity to participate in the weekly BBQ featuring produce from the farm owner's own hunting successes. A feast! My son could hardly wait to go horse riding every day and had a blast looking after the animals. Don't expect a 5-star hotel. It's a farm. But a farm built with dedication and warmth, where the owner is always available and willing to listen. We fell in love with the riding instructors. On our second arrival, the first thing we heard when we parked the car was... "Finally back!" We're already planning our next stay. It's likely to become a tradition! We're already looking forward to it! So... see you very soon...

The vacation with Mr. Thomsen was exactly what I was looking for. A relaxing break on a farm with horses and horseback riding, very friendly and, above all, helpful staff, a wonderful setting with many excursion options (on foot, by bike, or by car), and great accommodations. The farm is perfect for families and children, but also for solo travelers. A cozy barbecue evening organized by Mr. Thomsen and the girls was very convivial. I had a great time with the horses and the girls, and Mr. Thomsen helped me a lot in a difficult situation, which was not something I would take for granted. I would like to thank you for the wonderful time at Hof Thomsen – and I will be back!

We had a wonderful time here over the Easter holidays. The small apartment was clean and spacious enough for a family with two children. The beach is also just a 20-30 minute drive away. Everyone really enjoyed the horseback riding, even the adults. The riding instructors were excellent. We will cherish the memories of our four days here. Thank you so much and best regards.

We stayed there for a week with our young children and we all really enjoyed it. Even our almost 5-year-old dared to ride a horse after seeing his mom ride. 😅 We were even able to go on a little self-guided ride. Mr. Thomsen really cares about his guests, and the riding lessons are very good. The apartments are clean; some things could use some repairs and aren't brand new anymore 😉 but they are functional. The go-karts and toy tractors are great, as is the playground right on the farm and the rabbit and guinea pig house. Our children wanted to go straight to the paddock to see the horses in the morning. Goodbye to the fear of touching them!! Thank you for the wonderful vacation!
