I thought long and hard about whether I wanted to write a review, but couldn't bring myself not to. We went to Ms. Bruns' puppy school about a year ago. Puppy school isn't a single course, but is offered continuously, which is why there's a lively rotation of different dogs. After or during the lesson, there's puppy playtime, where, as a novice dog owner with little experience, I thought, "Oh, how lovely they play together." Nonsense. A year later, I know that the supposed playtime was pure stress for my dog. Every dog ​​we've ever seen has meant action to mine. Exactly, which is what I don't want, of course. It's all well and good as a puppy, and you're happy because you think it's good socialization. Unfortunately, I now have a leash-aggressive dog who is so frustrated because he's not allowed to play with every dog ​​anymore. During puppy playtime, the trainers tried to intervene when things got too "rough." Unfortunately, with little consequence. Unfortunately, for me as a novice dog owner, this was the wrong dog school, with little education and guidance from the trainers, from theory to observing the dogs' supposed "play." If you want a relaxed dog later on, I wouldn't recommend the puppy classes. I can't comment on the other classes.

We are preparing our dog for the temperament test. Our trainer is doing a fantastic job; he explains exactly what we can improve and why the dog reacts the way it does in certain situations. We can also ask any questions we may have. We feel very well taken care of and would highly recommend this dog training school.

Highly recommended! As dog beginners, we feel like we received excellent support at the dog school! In the basic course, we learned all the important fundamentals, along with many advanced and individually tailored tips. The topics are diverse and relevant to everyday life. We got to know our dog better and had a lot to laugh about! The atmosphere is great for learning, very loving and supportive. We never had any fears, and any insecurities could be addressed and practiced. We always received a tip that was tailored to our dog's current level. A special thank you goes to Isabelle, Dominique, and Jana! Yvonne's social walks are also a great enrichment for us; we've participated several times and will continue to participate – and we learn something new each time. Many thanks also to Sandra, who helped us introduce our tomcat and the new dog at home. Thanks to her tips, the two are sleeping together on the sofa today. Next up for us is the nose work course, and eventually the practical test for the dog license. We'll definitely be happy to stay at Bruns Dog School! :)
