Absolutely wonderful! After five long weeks at the clinic following hoof surgery, I can say that the entire staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Everything is explained in detail, and questions are always answered with understanding. They also handle the horses with great care and respect! I highly recommend this clinic!

Our mare Nori had to stay at the clinic for over a week due to a pneumothorax and pneumonediastinum. Nori couldn't have been in better hands. She was in excellent hands throughout her entire stay. Everything was done to help her, and she was treated with great expertise, care, and patience. The telephone support was also simply fantastic. We were kept very regularly informed and always knew how Nori was doing, and all examinations and further treatment steps were explained clearly. A very special thank you goes to Carolina Pietsch and Prof. Dr. Karsten Fiege for their outstanding care and dedication. We would also like to sincerely thank the entire team at the equine clinic. Thank you so much for everything you did for Nori ❤️ Highly recommended!!!

Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the conditions. My mare was kept in one of the isolation stalls, there was very little bedding (she was sometimes lying directly on the stone floor), and her bandage wasn't changed regularly. In general, the hygiene was rather poor, which led to her developing cellulitis in addition to her initial problems. Furthermore, we had to search for someone for a very long time when she became very ill during our visit—we couldn't find anyone, and it took over an hour before someone arrived. The students who were partly responsible for her care seemed overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. We were assured that someone would call us the next day regarding her condition, but this unfortunately didn't happen. We were only informed about the results of the fecal samples after our stay, and only upon request. During this time, we were repeatedly told that there hadn't been time to look at them yet, even though she was in critical condition and the cause of the infection was unclear. Overall, we didn't feel well-informed about the chances of successful treatment and felt like we were being strung along. The attending veterinarian was very friendly, but also very stingy with information. We had a better experience with the younger breeding stallion; it seemed to us as if there was a two-tier system for sport horses and "leisure horses." The reception staff was very friendly. Next time we will go to a different clinic.

A truly heartfelt recommendation! I've been taking my horses to this veterinary clinic for quite some time now and couldn't ask for better care. The entire team is incredibly warm, competent, and always takes plenty of time – both for the animals and their owners. I especially appreciate that everything is explained clearly and calmly. You feel that your concerns are taken seriously and that you're in the best possible hands. Whether it's a routine check-up or an emergency – I know my horses are in the best possible care here. The telephone accessibility is also excellent. I can call anytime and always receive friendly, patient, and competent support. This feeling of never being alone with your questions or concerns is priceless. Many thanks to the entire team for your daily dedication, your care, and your passion.
