Very friendly and competent advice over the phone. My goat received excellent care during a previous operation.

After a 230 km drive with my sick goat, we were left standing in the rain! Since entry wasn't possible due to COVID restrictions, this situation was unavoidable. Arrogant service from aspiring veterinarians who seem to think they're the world's elite. They need to gain experience first, my dears! The wayfinding system is poor on the very labyrinthine grounds, where parking is also limited, at least for loading and unloading patients. It's impossible without help, as the vehicle has to be moved immediately. The ruminant clinic doesn't have its own X-ray machine, which necessitated another appointment at the adjacent equine clinic, causing further delays. They tried to send me home at least three times, only to have me come back the next day! For a total drive of almost 500 km, this is absolutely unacceptable! So I left my mobile number and asked them to inform us when there were results. After waiting two hours in the car – there's absolutely nowhere to wait – I went back to the clinic only to be told that the x-rays they'd taken weren't conclusive. My goat had been moved to a stall in the meantime, which of course we couldn't access. I asked for another x-ray appointment, which they claimed wasn't possible because they were treating a colic case at the equine clinic. This had absolutely nothing to do with x-rays, but they figured it was worth a try to get rid of me. No such luck! After another two hours – we'd already been on the road for about seven – I went back to reception, asked again, and still received no meaningful diagnosis. Basically, they just confirmed what my local vet had already determined. When they then tried to tell me that the goat wasn't in good condition, I was, to put it bluntly, about to lose it! I drive 500 km to a specialist clinic just because my animal is perfectly healthy!!! The ladies just barely managed to turn things around when they realized they'd gone too far.... I've kept goats for 45 years, and I had the feeling I understood the subject better than the person I was dealing with. It's also disappointing that I packed my animal up again without a diagnosis, and even now, more than two weeks later, I still haven't received a report. My local vet will be contacting the clinic shortly.... That was my last trip there! Since I haven't received a report yet, and of course, no bill, I don't even know what this mess will cost me financially; it's all beyond unsatisfactory!

A very positive experience with very friendly, competent, and helpful staff. Despite it being the weekend, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. Many thanks, especially to the Ruminant Clinic.

Top clinic. We arrived as an emergency, which I had already arranged by phone, since there's no veterinarian for goats in our area. When we arrived, the veterinary team was already ready to take the animal and treat it. Everything went so quickly. The veterinary team is incredibly friendly and worked seamlessly together.

I received excellent advice and continued contact even after we were back home. Even when our pet sadly had to be euthanized, we were still contacted and informed about what they had discovered, even though the animal hadn't yet undergone an autopsy. A wonderful veterinarian, thank you again. Even though we had hoped for a different outcome.
