I am very disappointed with this vet visit. Yesterday at 3:28 p.m., I called the clinic because I took in a cat six weeks ago who is showing clear signs of possible pregnancy. I have three other cats and a dog at home. The cat has already attacked one of my neutered male cats, which could be due to hormonal changes during pregnancy. I was told on the phone that I could come in with a wait. I arrived at the clinic around 4:00 p.m. and waited for over an hour. Then the vet came into the waiting room and, in front of everyone else waiting, said in an unfriendly tone that he couldn't see me without an appointment. I explained that I had called ahead and been told I could come in with a wait – but this was simply refused. I fully understand that a clinic usually can't operate without an appointment. But then they shouldn't have told me on the phone that I could come in with a wait. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come without an appointment in the first place. I completely understand that a clinic usually can't operate without an appointment. I then had to explain my situation in front of everyone in the waiting room, which I found very uncomfortable. I simply wanted my cat examined so I would know what to do next (e.g., prepare a birthing box, separate her from the other cats, etc.). When I explained that I might have to separate the animals, I was even asked why I wanted to do that at all – this really bothered me, as it's perfectly understandable given the possibility of pregnancy and tension between the animals. Only later were I suddenly told to wait. By that point, however, I already felt so uncomfortable and not taken seriously that I left the practice after another 10 minutes. At reception, I explained that I was leaving because I felt uneasy and found the vet's behavior very unfriendly. The only response was: "That's your decision." In a situation where you are worried about your animal, you want understanding, discretion and respectful treatment – unfortunately, I did not experience that here.

I think he's great. So far, only good experiences. My 6-year-old dog has been under his care for years. We've been through everything from check-ups to cancer treatment. I don't get the feeling that he's a doctor who's just trying to rip you off. I can always get appointments quickly. The receptionist has always been very nice. She's wonderful with the animals. My dog is loud, barks a lot, and is anxious... but she's always had a good rapport with her. Of course, he's not always available by phone, but I understand that. There are people and animals on-site who need attention, too. Sometimes he's busy with administrative tasks and just needs a quiet moment. We're extremely satisfied and feel very well cared for.

I've been waiting weeks for an appointment, and then I finally get one, only to have it cancelled the day before. I'm supposed to make a new appointment for New Year's Day. I'll never call them again. Incompetent professionals!
