Reviews
I take my three cats to Dr. Martina Mrugalla and am very happy with her professional and personal skills! After an examination, she always has several diagnoses in mind and, with each new piece of information, she narrows them down to the most likely one, conducts further tests, and ultimately provides the best treatment. Two of my cats have already had surgery there, both very successfully, and the aftercare has always been very attentive, caring, and attentive. The team and the doctor always call to check on my cats, adjust their treatments if necessary, and so on. A big thank you to the assistants as well! My cats and I feel completely at ease with you! Thank you so much!
A very disappointing and distressing experience. Our cat was brought to the veterinary practice on Monday due to constipation and noticeable mobility problems. During the visit, the vet suggested a possible neurological issue. Our cat received an injection, which is listed on the bill simply as "injection," without any further details about the active ingredients or purpose. We were told verbally that this measure should prompt our cat to defecate. However, this did not happen – she was only able to defecate a day later. Furthermore, we were told at the appointment to return if her condition did not improve. When our cat's condition deteriorated significantly on Wednesday (barely any movement, very shallow breathing), we contacted the practice again by phone. We were then informed that the practice would no longer treat the cat and that we should contact an animal hospital. In this critical situation, we felt abandoned. Our cat subsequently underwent a thorough examination at another veterinary clinic in Hamburg-Bergedorf. There, it was discovered that she had fluid in her lungs and likely a heart problem – a diagnosis that clearly explained our cat's critical condition. We are very relieved that our cat was able to receive help there. However, due to the lack of transparency, what we consider an inadequate assessment, and the way they handled this acute situation, we unfortunately cannot recommend this practice.
Our cat fell ill after Christmas. Our vet was unavailable between the holidays, so we looked for a veterinary practice that could examine her before New Year's Eve. We were able to come in the same day, and they quickly diagnosed the problem. The following day, they removed a blade of grass from her nose! We are very grateful for the professional advice and treatment. Many thanks to Ms. Hitziger and the entire practice team!
